The number of fast tokens granted each month differs from bank capacity and from the models eligible for relaxed production.

Read three different numerical allowances
The official Leonardo pricing display shows Essential at $12 monthly and 8,500 Fast Tokens per month, Premium at $30 and 25,000, and Ultimate at $60 and 60,000. Its quoted token-bank capacities are 25,500, 75,000 and 180,000. The bank figure is not a second monthly grant; it is a capacity control. Treat balance, monthly issuance and maximum accumulated balance as independent state variables in forecasting.
Free differs in both refresh and visibility
The vendor lists the Free tier at 150 Fast Tokens per day with public creations and limited model access. A daily allotment should not be multiplied by thirty to imply a guaranteed monthly cash value; unused grants may have different reset rules and access conditions. Free output also does not automatically satisfy private client-work requirements. Date-stamp both the entitlement and the creator’s intended licensing use, rather than comparing price alone.
Unlimited relaxed is a restricted mode
Premium offers relaxed generation on selected image models, and Ultimate adds relaxed video generation on specified models. Leonardo explicitly warns that processing priority and queue concurrency can change with demand. An “unlimited” label here does not imply unlimited fast tokens, support for all integrated models, or a fixed completion time. People planning daily deliveries should simulate the tail risk of slow generations and the need for peak-hour fast balance.
Team pricing is a different contract
The site also offers team plans with shared tokens, seat minimums and per-seat amounts; those are not interchangeable with one individual Ultimate account. Project managers should price the number of authorized seats, sharing rules, private generations and administrative controls. An optional API program has separate metering and keys. Do not infer a developer API budget from an individual subscription or from nominal monthly fast-token count.
A decision example using two budgets
If an agency expects 20,000 Fast Tokens consumed by tested settings, Essential’s nominal 8,500 monthly grant would be insufficient without another source of tokens. Premium’s 25,000 could cover the estimate only if model eligibility and reset behaviour match the actual use. This is a capacity comparison, not a claim about how many images any model produces. Log generation tokens by model and resolution, and include editing time, retries and rights review.
How to verify the actual invoice
Begin with a small representative workload rather than the cheapest published headline. Record the exact provider and billing channel, API model identifier, currency, account geography, plan and commitment length. The price or quota evidence in this guide is keyed to daily_fast_tokens, monthly_fast_tokens, monthly_subscription, token_bank_capacity. Do not combine proprietary creative credits, token meters or media seconds into a single currency or invent a conversion rate between them. If an enterprise or regional rate is not published, leave its price unknown and obtain a written quote.
Keep separate estimates for failed attempts, optional tools, storage, exports, human quality review and tax. Use source-verified line items from the companion CSV instead of typing permanent numbers into your forecasting formulas. Where an old plan or model was superseded, preserve its original historical record and create an additive later snapshot. Availability, alternatives and editorial limits
Available plans, supported endpoints, trial eligibility, quota reset and contract rights may vary by region and account even when a public website displays a single global currency.
