A user may choose a named video model from Krea’s interface while purchasing compute from Krea rather than contracting directly with the underlying model developer.
The model name is not the billing product
Krea’s public model library lists numerous routed video models with differing modalities and creation limits. Those entries are catalog evidence that Krea presents a particular integration, but they do not demonstrate an identical API version or license to a model offered by its original maker. Always record provider, hosted product, routed model identity and snapshot date as separate fields.
Plan around jobs, not a universal feature checkbox
Krea’s video experience describes generation from text and images, extensions and access to multiple models. Yet model inputs differ: one supports native speech, another an end frame, another a reference video, and another accepts a starting image only. A generic “supports video” comparison loses those constraints. For every planned shot, store a capability tuple: prompt mode, required reference type, maximum requested duration, intended ratio, export format and whether sound is needed. If the platform routes behind a model alias, ask for the precise execution model where possible.
Credits can hide two conversion layers
A platform credit price does not automatically equal the upstream model’s API price. A host can bundle compute, account features, retries or concurrency differently. Calculate proposed jobs from Krea’s own documented billing scheme for the actual subscription, then record the upstream model ID only for technical compatibility. Avoid inferring that a paid plan on one site grants rights to an output generated on another site. AI10 should own dated cash pricing, while the AI04 matrix can record credits only when the plan and unit are proven.
Storyboard a comparison within the platform
For a scene featuring a moving mechanical object, create one rights-cleared reference still and one consistent storyboard brief. Check each eligible model’s supported inputs before running it. Evaluate the resulting videos against a human rubric for mechanism continuity, object count, camera stability and subtitle readability rather than awarding a subjective “best AI” score after a few samples. A model unable to accept the same type of reference should be documented as not comparable, not punished as lower quality.
Regional and legal boundaries
Krea’s claim of commercial licensing on a particular host plan should be read in that contract and date, not transferred to unrelated websites or trial tiers. Uploaded logos, faces or customer footage require an independent source-rights review. If a provider is unavailable in an area, a routed catalog entry does not authorize violating regional restrictions. Data residency, training use, asset deletion and account permission settings may also differ from the upstream provider’s terms. These are procurement questions before upload.
Editing and production integration
A practical architecture stores one media inventory independent of Krea: shot IDs, prompts, reference hashes, source licenses, export checksums and reviewer comments. The host is one execution adapter rather than the only copy of a project. That separation makes it possible to migrate an expensive shot to a traditional NLE or local model without losing continuity data. Keep the original still and every final MP4 rather than relying on a cloud history indefinitely.
What this guide does not prove
Krea’s first-party catalogue is not an independent benchmark, and public pages may show “coming soon” models next to available models. Review actual access in the account and confirm current version names as of deployment. Regional licensing, model-specific generation fees and queue limits remain unverified unless the exact Krea plan supplies them. This article addresses the architecture of a multi-model host, not final model rankings owned by AI09.
